Box Score

NYACK, N.Y.
- Kehinde Roberts scored 22 points and Ralph Hegamin posted 20 to lead four players in double figures as West Chester University topped host Nyack College, 83-71, in a non-league men's basketball contest at Bowman Gym Tuesday night.

West Chester (8-0) is off to its best start in the modern era of men's basketball with its eight straight wins. Nyack (4-5) saw its modest two-game win streak come to a close with the loss.

Freshman Harley Williamson scored 11 points off the bench for the Golden Rams while Sam Scott registered 10 in a relief role. The Rams shot 52 percent in the second half as opposed to Nyack's 34 percent to help pull away after taking a 38-37 halftime advantage.

An 11-3 run midway through the second half, fueled by a pair of 3-pointers by Roberts, increased West Chester's lead to 12, giving the visitor's some breathing room.

Roberts added five steals and five rebounds to his team-high 22 points. Hegamin was 11-for-14 from the line in the tilt.

Nyack's Aundrae Williams scored a game-high 23 points. Jose Lopez had 19 for the Warriors.

West Chester returns home from its three-game road swing on Thursday for another non-league game against Neumann University at Hollinger Field House before breaking for the holidays.
