Meet Results
WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Southern Connecticut State University registered the top team score in three of the four events, edging Brown University by one-five thousandths of a point in a women's gymnastics tri-meet Sunday afternoon at Sturzebecker HSC.
Southern Conn. State totaled a 185.300 to Brown's 185.250 to take the meet. West Chester placed third with a team score of 178.300.
Freshman Alli Aquila finished third in the all-around with a 36.275 to highlight the meet for West Chester. She placed fourth on the vault with a 9.45. Teammate Felicia Massaro was right behind Aquila with a 9.40 to place fifth. The vault was the Golden Rams' top apparatus of the meet.
Lindsey Britt scored a 9.25 on the floor while Stephanie Clark scored a 9.25 on the vault. Aquila posted a 9.3 on the uneven bars and a 9.15 on the floor.
West Chester will be back in action next Saturday at the Liberty Classic at Temple University.
