BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Ralph Hegamin scored 22 points and Kenneth St. George netted 20 to lead visiting West Chester to a 67-53 victory over host Bloomsburg in a PSAC East men’s basketball showdown Saturday afternoon.
West Chester (15-8, 6-4) ended a personal two-game losing streak and solidified its hold on second place in the league standings. Bloomsburg (4-19, 1-9) shot 31.8 percent in the second half, holding the Huskies to just 18 points over the 20-minute span.
Hegamin and St. George single-handedly took over the game, posting a combined 42 points. Kehinde Roberts chipped in with 10. Sandy Tanner grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds to lead West Chester in that category.
West Chester travels to Kutztown on Wednesday for an 8 p.m. tip with the Golden Bears.
