Millersville Exacts Revenge On West Chester To Tune Of 71-57

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Millersville put four players in double figures to exact revenge on visiting West Chester with a 71-57 victory in a PSAC East men's basketball game Saturday afternoon at Pucillo Gym.

Palmer McDurfee scored a game-high 21 points, including 10 of 11 from the free throw line, and dished out seven assists to lead the host Marauders. Millersville (8-13, 2-6) shot 48.8 percent from the field for the game, including an incredible 57.9 percent (11 of 19) from beyond the 3-point arc to even up the season series with the Golden Rams.

Kenneth St. George scored 18 points and Kehinde Roberts added 17 for West Chester (14-7, 5-3). The Rams shot a dismal 18.8 percent from 3-point range (3 of 16) in the loss. With the loss, West Chester drops into fourth place in the PSAC Eastern Division standings, but is still holding on to that final postseason spot.

Ralph Hegamin, the conference’s leading rebounder, pulled down just six boards in the game and mustered just eight points.
 
West Chester returns home on Wednesday to face cross-town rival Cheyney at Hollinger Field House at 5:30 p.m.
