PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown University downed visiting West Chester, 188.350-179.400 in a non-league women’s gymnastics meet at the Pizzitola Center in Providence, R.I., Friday evening. The Golden Rams’ 179.400 marked their highest team score of the season.
West Chester (2-1) lost its first dual meet of the year, falling to Division I power Brown.
Lyndsey Britt scored a 9.375 on the floor exercise, and Melissa Filer registered a 9.325 on the balance beam. Jenna Ciatto also posted a 9.200 on the floor to compliment Britt in that event.
Ali Aquilla scored a 34.325 in the all-around.
West Chester is off until the ECAC Division II Championships take place on March 21 at Southern Connecticut State University.
