WEST CHESTER, Pa. – West Chester University ran its winning streak to four straight, including 12 wins in the last 12 sets, by defeating Chestnut Hill and Seton Hill by identical 3-0 scores Friday afternoon at Hollinger Field House.
West Chester (5-1) dominated the Ram Fest Tournament on the first day, never really being tested. Chestnut Hill (2-3) dropped both of its contests on the day, also losing to Daemen College, 3-0.
Brooke Foskey and Michelle Powers each tied for the team lead with seven kills against Chestnut Hill while Lisa Campbell registered 14 digs and five aces. Helen Fitzpatrick contributed 26 assists.
In the night cap, Powers hammered down 12 kills, Lexi Kegerise posted 11 kills and Foskey put down 10 in a three-game sweep of Seton Hill. Fitzpatrick posted 36 assists in that win while Campbell recorded 17 digs.
West Chester concluded the Ram Fest tomorrow afternoon with matches against Daemen College and Wilmington at Hollinger Field House.
