WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Ralph Hegamin scored 27 points on the strength of an 11-for-12 effort from the foul line, and Kenny St. George scored 18 points off the bench to pace West Chester to a 92-83 victory over visiting Slippery Rock in a PSAC men's basketball crossover match inside Hollinger Field House Sunday afternoon.
West Chester (10-2) earned its second win of the weekend over PSAC West opponents. Slippery Rock (11-2) dropped just its second contest of the season.
St. George posted his 18 points one day after being taken to the hospital after getting injured in Saturday's game against Mercyhurst. Kehinde Roberts had 14 points as well.
The Golden Rams put up a season-best 56 points in the second half on 15 of 31 shooting.
