WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Shippensburg’s Miles Harriger scored in the 27th minute on a pass from Michael Celivus to give the visiting Raiders a 1-0 win over host West Chester on Tuesday afternoon at John Ferrell Stadium on the campus of West Chester University.
West Chester (5-7-0, 0-5 PSAC) outshot Shippensburg (8-5-0, 4-3-0 PSAC) 13-6 in the match, but came up a goal short. Shippensburg extended its winning streak to five games with the victory today.
Senior goalkeeper Peter Weiss played all 90 minutes for the Golden Rams, recording three saves. Clay Sale went start to finish for Shippensburg tallying seven saves.
West Chester returns to action on Saturday when they visit California (Pa.) in a PSAC showdown at 12 p.m.
