WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Lexi Kegerise led West Chester University with 14 kills, and Michelle Powers registered 11 kills and hit .429 for the match as the Golden Rams downed visiting Georgian Court, 3-1, in a non-league women's volleyball match inside Hollinger Field House Tuesday night.
West Chester (13-4) rebounded from a 25-22 set one loss where it hit just .062 to hit .476 in the second set and take a 25-7 win. The Golden Rams used that momentum to win set three, 25-14 and set four, 25-18.
Julie Boblits recorded 10 kills, and Helen Fitzpatrick posted 36 assists. Lisa Campbell had 12 digs and five service aces. Kelly Martin registered six blocks as West Chester posted 11 blocks as a team.
West Chester travels out west for the second half of the PSAC Crossover this weekend. The Golden Rams will face California (Pa.), Slippery Rock, Indiana (Pa.) and Clarion in Slippery Rock, Pa.
