ASTON, Pa. - West Chester University swept the singles and won two of three doubles matches as the Golden Rams defeated host Neumann University, 8-1, in a non-league men's tennis match Monday afternoon.
West Chester (6-8) ended a two-match losing streak with its win over Neumann.
The Golden Rams captured the first and third doubles matches to take a 2-1 lead heading into the singles competitions. West Chester won five of the six singles in straight sets with only No. 3 singles stretching to three sets.
West Chester takes on East Stroudsburg in a PSAC East competition Tuesday afternoon at East Stroudsburg.
