West Chester Finishes Competitions At Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – West Chester University’s 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams competed at the Penn Relays at Franklin Field on Friday afternoon. Both relays finished second in their respective heats, but failed to qualify for the finals on Saturday.

West Chester’s 4x100 relay team of Shawn Smith, Leighon Johnson, Josh Bacon and Matt Houser posted a time of 42.42 seconds in their heat. The 4x400 relay team of Kyle Perry, Johnson, Houser and Craig Espenshade finished in 3:15.77.
