LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Lexi Kegerise registered nine kills, and West Chester University recorded a .384 hitting percentage for the match, as the Golden Rams swept host Georgian Court, 3-0, in a non-league women's volleyball match inside the Wellness Center Tuesday night.
Julie Boblits added seven kills and Cara Reese six for West Chester (18-11). Helen Fitzpatrick notched 24 assists and 10 digs for a double-double while Lisa Campbell contributed nine digs. Kelly Martin had five service aces.
West Chester now looks forward to this weekend where the Golden Rams travel to take on East Stroudsburg on Friday night, before moving on to play PSAC East Division leader Lock Haven on Saturday. The Rams continue to fight for a home game in the playoffs, and this weekend will go a long way to determining whether or not they can reach that goal.
