LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Allison Hostetter scored a career-high 26 points, and Alex Lennon added a career-best 21 points, as visiting West Chester downed host Lock Haven University, 77-67, in a PSAC women's basketball contest Saturday afternoon inside Thomas Fieldhouse.
West Chester (6-2, 4-2 PSAC) ended a modest two-game losing streak while Lock Haven moved to 4-3 overall and 3-3 in conference play.
Lennon added eight rebounds and four steals to her totals on Saturday. West Chester shot 48.6 from the floor (35 of 72) and forced Lock Haven into 28 turnovers. Hostetter was 12-for-17 from the field while Lennon was 10-for-14. They were the only two Golden Rams in double figures.
West Chester is off until Dec. 30-31 when the Golden Rams welcome Molloy, University of the Sciences and Millersville to Hollinger Field House for the 26th Annual Carol Eckman Memorial Tournament. Game times each day are 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
