WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Justin Lamborn was a combined 3-for-7 with a pair of runs scored, but it was not enough to overcome visiting Millersville, which swept a baseball doubleheader from West Chester University at Serpico Stadium on Saturday.
West Chester (6-10, 1-3 PSAC East) dropped its four-game series with Eastern Division rival Millersville (14-4, 3-1) as a result of the sweep.
Joe Wendle went 2-for-4 in the opener that Millersville won, 3-2. The Golden Rams loaded the bases with nobody out in the seventh inning trailing, 3-1. However, similarly to Friday afternoon at Marauder Park, West Chester only came away with one run.
The Marauders took the nightcap, 4-2.
Jordan Lehman (1-2) pitched a complete game in the opener and yielded three runs on five hits, walking three and striking out five.
Conor Kerins (0-1) picked up the loss in the nightcap, allowing three runs, two of them earned, walking three and striking out three.
