White Wills West Chester To Win, 37-26

WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Rondell White racked up 203 yards rushing and 299 all-purpose yards to lead West Chester to a 37-26 victory over visiting East Stroudsburg in a PSAC East football contest Saturday evening in front of 4,415 spectators inside John A. Farrell Stadium.

White, a local product from Rustin High School in West Chester, piled up 253 yards from scrimmage, including a 39-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. LaRonn Lee (Lancaster, Pa.) caught six passes for a career-high 115 yards to lead all receivers. West Chester QB Sean McCartney (Doylestown, Pa.) went 16 of 26 for 239 yards, including a TD toss to Sean Beahan. He did not throw an interception.

WCU place-kicker Shawn Leo (Souderton) was a perfect 3-for-3 on the day in field goal attempts.

NOTES: RB Rondell White's 299 all-purpose yards is the ninth-best single-game total in school history ... he came one yard shy of becoming just the ninth person to amass 300 all-purpose yards in a single game ... his 203 yards rushing were the most in a single game by a West Chester running back since D'Andre Webb set the school record with 306 yards rushing against Millersville in 2008 ... it marked the 18th time in school history that a running back went over 200 yards rushing in a contest ... White totaled 253 yards from scrimmage as well ... WR LaRonn Lee established a new game high with his 115 yards receiving ... WR Eric Brundidge and WR Sean Beahan each caught their first career TD passes ... Beahan posted a career-best 87 yards receiving in the win ... Shawn Leo's three field goals makes him 10-for-12 on the year ... the school's single-season record for field goals is 12 by Eric Wentling in 1984 ... LB Eric Edwers sacked ESU QB Ray Wagner in the fourth quarter ... it marked the first time all year that ESU has surrendered a sack ... So. Punter Rich Bruno made his collegiate debut ... he kicked off four times and punted once for 42 yards.
