Volleyball Sweeps Cheyney, 3-0

CHEYNEY, Pa. - West Chester's women's volleyball squad defeated cross-county rival Cheyney, 3-0, in a PSAC contest Saturday afternoon at Cope Hall.

West Chester (17-15, 7-10 PSAC) stated its case for a playoff spot with a pair of conference wins this weekend. The Golden Rams enter the final weekend of the season in a tie for third place with Millersville.

Lexi Kegerise finished with 14 kills, and Tyler Shaefer had 12 digs, for the Golden Rams, who won in straight sets, 25-9, 25-13, 25-11. Kelly Martin finished with eight kills as well.
