PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - West Chester University's women's volleyball squad defeated USciences, 3-0, Tuesday evening inside Morgan Arena in a non-league volleyball match. The Golden Rams squeezed by the Devils by scores of 25-23, 27-25 and 25-23.
West Chester (6-4) was led by Marina Sharkey's 10 kills. Julia O'Brien had eight kills and authored a hitting percentage of .368. Mary Faust registered 14 assists while Mandy Flynn had 13. Tyler Shaefer had 16 digs. Lexi Kegerise also recorded eight kills for the Golden Rams.
West Chester returns home to host the Ram Fest this weekend at Hollinger Field House. The Golden Rams will play five matches in two days as part of the Ram Fest.
