BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Megan Callanan scored twice to lead fourth ranked West Chester University to a 2-0 road Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference victory at No. 6 Bloomsburg on Saturday night.
The Golden Rams (9-4, 4-2 PSAC) opened the scoring with under three minutes remaining in the first half, when Callanan netter her eighth of the year. She closed out the scoring in the 59
th minute, converting a pass from
Kelsi Lykens. Bloomsburg (8-5, 4-2 PSAC), had their four game winning streak snapped with the defeat.
Audree Bonavita did not need to make a save to record her first career shutout. Bloomsburg keeper
Megan Eppley made three saves, including thwarting Lykens on a penalty shot a minute before Callanan scored her first.
The Golden Rams are home on Wednesday when they host Kutztown at 4 p.m.
