Box Score

NEWARK, Del. - West Chester University's men's soccer squad yielded four goals in the first half, which proved to be too much to come back from, as the visiting Golden Rams dropped a 4-1 decision to host Wilmington (Del.) Wednesday afternoon.

West Chester (3-3-2) fell to .500 on the season with the loss. Wilmington (8-2-0) continued its winning ways with the triumph.

Tommy Ryan scored West Chester's lone goal on a free kick in the second half. However, Wilmington scored three goals in the first 25 minutes of the game to make no doubt of the outcome right from the beginning.

Ryan Shultz (3-3-1) allowed all four goals, playing 45 minutes, and made three saves for the Golden Rams. Phil Horan played the second half for the visitors.
