DAVENPORT, Fla. - West Chester University dropped its first game down south, 7-4, to Northwood University Friday afternoon.
West Chester (4-5-1) scored four runs in the first inning. However, Northwood (5-6) came from behind to defeat the Golden Rams, who had just arrived down south after leaving Pennsylvania Thursday night.
Nick Bonadies highlighted West Chester's four-run first with a bases-loaded double that scored emptied the bases and scored three runs. Kyle Frazier also went 2-for-4 for the Rams.
West Chester will face fellow PSAC member Slippery Rock at 4:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
