WEST CHESTER, Pa. -
Troy Hockaday scored a team-best 20 points while
Cory Blake posted a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds to lead West Chester to a 91-87 overtime victory over visiting Lock Haven in a PSAC East men's basketball contest inside Hollinger Field House.

West Chester (11-4, 5-1 PSAC East) kept pace with the leaders in the Eastern Division. Lock Haven (8-6, 1-3) dropped just its second game in its last six, but three of four in conference play.

Shannon Givens nailed a pair of free throws with 21 seconds left to knot the game at 83 apiece and erase an eight-point deficit with 5:39 to go. The Golden Rams outscored the Bald Eagles 14-6 down the stretch to force the extra session.

Ben Mingledough and
Rasheed Wilkins each posted three points in the overtime to give West Chester the win. The Rams scored the first five points of the OT and then held off a desperate rally from the Bald Eagles to get the win.
Lock Haven's Nate Walters completed a three-point play with a layup and a foul shot with 10 seconds to go in the OT that pulled the visitors within a bucket at 89-87. However, Wilkins was fouled on the ensuing inbounds play, and the senior transfer buried both free throws to secure the victory.

With three players fouling out, including two starters, West Chester called upon Mingledough and Wilkins in the overtime to carry the load and they answered the bell. Mingledough tied his season high with 13 points while Wilkins had 10.

Four Golden Rams reached double figures with Hockaday, Blake, Mingledough and Wilkins all reaching 10 points.

West Chester travels to Shippensburg on Wednesday for another PSAC East showdown with the Raiders in Heigis Field House.
