Brandon Monk (West Grove, Pa./Avon Grove) scored three different ways as visiting West Chester defeated host Indiana, Pa., on the road for the first time since 1941, 28-17, Saturday afternoon at Miller Stadium.

Monk ran in the first score of the day from seven yards out to put the Golden Rams on top early. He later caught a 13-yard touchdown pass from Sr., QB
Sean McCartney (Doylestown, Pa./Archbishop Wood), before returning a punt 80 yards for a score in the fourth quarter. Monk finished with exactly 200 all-purpose yards (79 rushing, 22 receiving, 19 kick return, 80 punt return). McCartney was 17-for-26 for 299 yards and two touchdowns. He also hooked up with Sr., WR

West Chester (10-1) will await the NCAA Division II Selection Show on Sunday at 5 p.m. to see where its season continues. The Golden Rams were ranked third in the last Super Region 1 poll. With the win over the Crimson Hawks, West Chester is not expected to drop in the regional poll. The third and fourth seeds in the region will host a first-round playoff game next Saturday while the top two seeds receive a bye and will not play until the following Saturday (Nov. 29).
McCartney's two TD passes gives him 34 on the season, tieing his career-high from a year ago. He now has 2,998 yards passing on the year and 8,849 career passing yards.
