Matt Wiseley (Emmaus, Pa./Emmaus) recorded his second double-double of the season, scoring a team-high 15 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, as the Golden Rams defeated the Clarion Golden Eagles, 77-60, inside Hollinger Field House Saturday afternoon.

West Chester (4-7, 3-4 PSAC) allowed Clarion (4-5, 2-4 PSAC) an open layup to start the game, but they responded with a 16-0 run, to take control of the contest early. The Golden Rams reached their largest lead of 27 points in the second half. They remained aggressive with their fast-paced offense, enabling them to score 42 of their 77 points in the paint.

West Chester is now 3-0 against the Golden Eagles in its last three meetings while snapping a six-game losing streak. Wiseley capped-off the scoring with a slam dunk and gave the Golden Rams their second win by double-digits.

Freshman
Raheem Hall (Ardmore, Pa./Lower Merion) had a career-high 14 points as he went 5-for-5 from the field with three steals, two assists, and two blocks in the win.
Avery Brown (Mt. Laurel, N.J./Lenape) added 13 points, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals to the backcourt depth.

West Chester's bench outscored Clarions 33-15, including center,
Thomas White's (Chester, Pa./Penn Wood) 10 points in the front court to round out the double-digit scoring.

Golden Eagles' Cameron Grumley scored a team-high 18 points, shooting 7-for-12 from the field. Teammate, Darius Stevens scored in the double-figures with 15. Â

The Golden Rams will be back in action on Dec. 30 against non-conference opponent Chestnut Hill at 1 p.m. inside Hollinger Field House.
