Cory Blake (West Chester, Pa./Rustin) led the West Chester Golden Rams with 19 points, shooting 8 of 9 from the field, in an 84-81 win over Chestnut Hill College Tuesday afternoon inside Hollinger Field House.

West Chester (5-7) jumped out to a 45-32 lead going into halftime, after outscoring the Griffins 28-4 in the paint and 15-3 in second chances. Chestnut Hill (3-8) would rally back from 20 points down to find themselves up by one in the final two minutes of the game, but could never get the equalizer, or take the lead..

Avery Brown (Mt. Laurel, N.J./Lenape) finish second in scoring with 18 points.
Matt Wiseley (Emmaus, Pa./Emmaus) added nine points and 13 rebounds in the victory, including 10 rebounds in the first half.
Eric Frans (Lehigh, Pa./Saucon Valley) provided nine points as well. He also had five rebounds and three assists in the win.

Guards
Raheem Hall (Ardmore, Pa./Lower Merion) and
Ben Mingledough (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Carroll) combined for 16 points and five steals in the winning effort. Both players provided key plays at crucial times. Mingledough's scoring included a dunk off a pass from
Michael Wilson (Philadelphia, Pa./Martin Luther King) to increase the Golden Ram's lead to 19 early in the second half. Hall had a steal in the closing seconds to seal the win and stopped the Griffins from completing the comeback.

Griffin's forward Seamus Radtkke scored a team-high 21 points, to go along with eight rebounds, and two blocks. Guards Luke Dickenson and Christian Walck both scored 15 points each in the loss.

The Golden Rams will be back in action after the calendar turns to 2015 with back-to-back games against Pitt-Johnstown on Jan. 3 at 2 p.m. and nationally ranked Indiana (Pa.) Jan. 4 at 1 p.m.
