Shannon Givens scored 22 points, and
Ben Mingledough notched a career-high 20, as host West Chester University topped visiting Millersville, 86-74, in a PSAC East men's basketball contest inside Hollinger Field House.
West Chester (15-6, 8-3 PSAC East) outscored Millersville (9-10, 5-5) by 14 points in the second half to keep pace with Bloomsburg for second place in the conference standings.
Givens put up 14 of his team-best 22 in the final 20 minutes. It marked the third time this year that he has scored 22 points in a contest. Mingledough reached double digits for the third straight game and the fifth time in the last six outings. He is now averaging 13.7 points per game over that stretch.Â
Troy Hockaday, the team's leading scorer, added 18 points in the win.
West Chester will host Kutztown Saturday at 3 p.m.
