Cassandra Branigan each picked up a pair of victories to lead West Chester University women's tennis to a 7-2 victory over PSAC East rival Millersville on a sunny Thursday afternoon at the South Campus Tennis Courts.
The Golden Rams (8-9, 4-1 PSAC East) clinched the second seed in the conference tournament with its third victory in as many days and will host Kutztown (9-6, 4-2 PSAC East) the third seed on Monday afternoon. The Golden Rams scored a 7-2 road victory over the Golden Bears on Wednesday. The winner of Monday's match will face the top seed out of the West, California, Pa.(10-2, 5-0 PSAC West) on Thursday at 3 p.m. in the semifinals which will be held at the South Campus Courts.

Nicole Fahringer were victorious in first doubles 8-2, Branigan teamed with
Stephanie Cifarelli to pick a second point for West Chester by scoring an 8-5 win in third doubles.
The Golden Rams carried a 2-1 lead into the singles portion of the match and captured the first four matches to secure the victory.
Branigan was the first to put a point on the board when she dispatched her opponent 64, 6-1 at third singles, Shaak was next to the winners circle with a 6-4, 6-4 triumph in the first spot.
Haley Wissinger ended the suspense by securing the fifth point from the fifth singles position with a 6-3, 6-1 win.
Jami Dumler in sixth singles was a 6-3, 6-2 winner, as was
Abriana Nolan who won a three set match at fourth singles 6-2, 6-7 (2), 6-4.
West Chester hosts Shippensburg in the final regular season match on Saturday at 12 p.m., before facing Kutztown on Monday in the PSAC Tournament quarterfinals.
