Box Score WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Sixteenth-ranked East Stroudsburg University scored in the 108th minute to upset previously unbeaten and sixth-ranked West Chester University, 2-1, in a PSAC women's soccer match at Rockwell Field Tuesday afternoon.
West Chester (8-1-0, 7-1-0 PSAC) saw its eight-game winning streak to open the season come to a close with the loss while East Stroudsburg (7-1-0, 7-1-0) continues its winning ways.
Brielyn Hackett took advantage of a failed clear in the penalty area by West Chester to score the unassisted game-winner in the second overtime period. It capped a come-from-behind win for the Warriors.
ESU's Courtney Keller scored on a header in the 79th minute to even the score at 1-1 late in regulation.
West Chester sophomore, Haley Mangiaruga, opened the scoring three seconds before halftime to give the Golden Rams a 1-0 lead at the break.
Alex Srolis (8-1) suffered the loss in goal for West Chester. She made seven saves. East Stroudsburg's Jules Harris made five saves in the win.
