Box Score BUCKHANNON, W.Va. - Alex Pickett's second goal of the day with 10 seconds left in the first overtime period lifted East Stroudsburg to a 2-1 victory over West Chester in the first round of the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Tournament Friday afternoon at Culpepper Stadium.
West Chester (14-4-1) had forced the extra session with just over four minutes left in regulation on a goal from junior
Kara Parvel (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall). Pickett had given East Stroudsburg (12-6-2) the early lead 20 minutes into the contest.
West Chester starting goalkeeper,
Alex Srolis (Chester Springs, Pa./Downingtown East) made four saves in 47 minutes of action, before leaving with an injury.
Madi Mitchell (Wall Twp., N.J/Wall) played the rest of the way, making three saves.
