Malik Jackson (Lansdowne, Pa./Penn Wood) dropped a career-high 34 points on host Indiana (Pa.), including a 7-for-11 set from 3-point range, to help West Chester complete the upset over seventh-ranked IUP, 86-76, inside Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex Sunday afternoon.
The Golden Rams (4-0, 3-0 PSAC) finished with five players in double-figures to knock off the Crimson Hawks down the stretch. IUP (2-3, 1-2 PSAC) came back to take the lead, 58-57, with 8:08 left in the second half. But, a 13-4 run by West Chester over the next four minutes halted their momentum and would not pull closer in the 10-point loss.
WCU opened up the game with an 11-0 run and headed into the break leading only by five points (33-28). It was the first time that the Golden Rams scored a victory over a Top-10 team, since defeating No. 10 East Stroudsburg (83-76) three seasons ago in the 2012-13 campaign.

Josh Trumpy (Camp Hill, Pa./Trinity) filled up the scoresheet, scoring 11 points and converting on 5 of 8 from the field to go with seven rebounds, five steals, and four assists.
Avery Brown (Mt. Laurel, N.J./Lenape) and
Thomas White (Chester, Pa./Penn Wood) each contributed 10 points to help WCU survive in the final 10 minutes of play.
At the 12:32 mark in the second half, IUP came within two point's, causing West Chester to call a 30-second timeout. Brandon Spain scored a layup and was fouled to give the Crimson Hawks a one-point lead. After a turnover, Trumpy came back with a steal and a layup on the other end to put the Golden Rams back up by one with the seesaw game in effect.
Crimson Hawks' Anthony Glover scored a team-high 16 points (6-for-11 FG) for the game. Jack Diaz contributed 15 points, seven rebounds, and two steals. Brandon Norfleet recorded 12 points. Guard Brandon Spain and forward Daddy Ugbede added 11 points each, and combined for 10 rebounds on the afternoon.
Glover knocked down another three to tie the game up at 55-all minutes later in the period. Jackson came back with his sixth three of the game for a two-point lead for the Golden Rams with 7:57 to play.
West Chester will continue its four-game road trip against Bowie State on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
