Avery Brown (Mt. Laurel, NJ / Lenape) scored a season-high 18 points, shooting 70 percent from the field, to go with three steals in West Chester's road win over Bowie State 80-68 inside the Leonidas S. James Physical Education Complex Wednesday night.
The Golden Rams (5-0) remain undefeated with the help of four players scoring in double figures. Bowie State (3-2) were down by one possession 10 times in the first half and stuck around to lead go up three with a layup before the clock expired at the half (0.01).

Thomas White (Chester, Pa. / Penn Wood) finished on the team in scoring with a season-high 15 points in 13 minutes of action.
Josh Trumpy (Camp Hill, Pa. / Trinity) and
Malik Jackson (Lansdowne, Pa. / Penn Wood) added 10 points each a piece, combing for four rebounds. Jackson also added four assists and two steals in the mix.

Matt Wiseley (Emmaus, Pa. / Emmaus) grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds, while teammate
Mike Wilson (Philadelphia, Pa. / Martin Luther King) in his first start of the season passed the ball for a career-high eight assists and added nine points, four rebounds, and three steals in the victory.
WCU was down at 17:56 in the second half by the Bulldogs largest lead of the game of seven after a 6-0 run after West Chester's' Trumpy made the first basket out of the break. The Golden Rams would tie it up at 44-44, but the Bulldogs kept upping the margin to five. Suddenly six minutes later (11:36), the Golden Rams made their move with a layup by Brown to begin a 10-0 run concluding with a Brown 3-pointer in the final 10 minutes and secured their fifth straight win by 12.
Bulldogs' forward Julian Livingston recorded a team-high 13 points on the day for Bowie. Miles Jackson added 12 points, four rebounds, and two steals. Jordan Goodman contributed 10 points and seven rebounds in the loss.
West Chester ends its November slate and transitions into December with a matchup against PSAC East rival Shippensburg on Monday to conclude its four game road trip.
