Michael Oliver (Howell, N.J./Freehold Twp.) set a pool record to lead host West Chester to a tri-meet victory over visiting Ursinus College and Albright College inside Graham Natatorium Saturday morning.

West Chester finished with 910 points. Ursinus was second with 675, and Albright was third with 319.

Oliver won the 200 breaststroke in record-setting time of 2 minutes, 1.74 seconds.
Thomas McCormick (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) was second in 2:06.83 while Kyle Supko was third in 2:13.86. That 1,2,3 finish marked the fifth event of the day in which West Chester swimmers captured the top three spots, which was a big reason for the Rams' large margin of victory.

West Chester (6-1) started off Saturday by taking the top three spots in the 1650-yard freestyle to extend its lead from Friday evening's session and never looked back.
Victor Polyakov (Taganrog, Russia) won the mile in a time of 15:47.46 while
Eric Long (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) (16:21.70) and
Geoff Boody (Wrightstown, Pa./Council Rock North) (16:26.90) were close behind.

The Golden Rams' foursome in the 400 medley relay then won the following event in a time of 3:23.87. The Rams' "B" squad finished second.

The men continued to extend their lead in the 200 individual medley by sweeping the top three events as well.
Thomas McCormick (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) won the event in 1:51.55 with
Mason Azais (Culpepper, Va./Culpepper County) (1:57.55) and
Philip Nawn (Media, Pa./Penncrest) (1:58.81) right behind.

West Chester, again, pulled off the trifecta in the 50 free with
Evan Sherkness (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh),
Daniil Sokman (Russia) and
Luke Maguire (Conshohocken, Pa./LaSalle Prep) all finishing 1,2 and 3, respectively.

The Golden Rams captured the top five spots in the 200 butterfly. Polyakov wrapped up his second win of the day with a time of 1:51.33. Countryman, Sokman, won the 100 free in the next event of the day (46.31). Maguire and Nawn followed him in second and third, respectively.

West Chester had the top two spots in the 400 free relay, the final event of the day, as well.
