Ten Golden Rams Swimmers Named to CSCAA Individual Scholar All-America Squad

RICHMOND, VA - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is proud to announce its Spring 2026 Scholar All-America Individuals presented by Fitter & Faster Swim Camps, which included five West Chester University female swimmers and five male swimmers.
 
A grand total of 213 women from 41 Division II institutions and 169 men from 39 Division II institutions were honored. To qualify for First-Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. second-team selections, must have also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met an NCAA "B" qualifying standard for the NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships.
 
Members of the women's swim team included sophomore Molly Hubal (Archbald, Pa./Valley View), freshmen Michalina Jasinska (Warsaw, Poland) and Lava Piuva (Malmo, Sweden), and seniors Bella Kil (Enola, Pa./East Pennsboro) and Lenya Ryan (Wilmington, Del./Mt. Pleasant). Hubal, Jasinska, Piuva and Kil were all second-team honorees while Ryan was the lone first-team recipient among the women. Kil (2025, 2026) and Ryan (2024, 2026) each are making their second appearance on the Individual Scholar All-America team.
 
All five men's swimmers were named to the second team. They included, juniors Danny Dunigan (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn), Szymon Kapala (Olsztyn, Poland) and Ryan Lee (Camp Hill, Pa./Camp Hill), senior Kolos Nagy (Szazhalombatta, Hungary) and freshman Nathan Noel (Destrehan, LA Destrehan). Dunigan and Nagy have been named to the Individual Scholar All-America team in each of the past three years.
 
"This recognition celebrates the remarkable commitment these student-athletes make to excellence both in the classroom and in competition," said CSCAA Executive Director Samantha Barany. "The 714 teams honored this spring represent the very best of collegiate swimming and diving, demonstrating that academic success and athletic achievement go hand in hand. We congratulate every student-athlete, coach, and institution recognized."
 
Student-athletes recognized on the 2026 CSCAA Individual Scholar All-America Team represented a wide range of academic disciplines, with STEM and health science majors accounting for the largest share of honorees, followed closely by business-related fields.
 
Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams Also Honored
West Chester University's men's and women's swimming & diving squads were recognized in their entirety by the CSCAA as well. Teams were selected on the basis of their Spring 2026 grade-point averages and were required to achieve a team GPA of 3.00 or higher to earn Scholar All-America recognition.
 
The women's team posted a team GPA of 3.70 while the men's team posted a mark of 3.29. The CSCAA Scholar All-America Team program presented by Fitter & Faster Swim Camps recognizes collegiate swimming and diving teams from all over the country. Since its inception, the program has celebrated thousands of teams and student-athletes who exemplify the balance of academic and athletic success.
