Matt Wiseley (Emmaus, Pa. / Emmaus) scored a team-high 17 points, but it was not enough as West Chester would suffer its first loss to PSAC crossover Edinboro, 69-66 inside Hollinger Field House Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Rams (7-1, 5-1 PSAC) came back after giving up the lead to find themselves down two with an opportunity to knot it up at 68. With six seconds left on the clock, Wiseley drove down the lane and let the ball go off the glass with a defender on him. The ball came out, whistles were silent, and Tommy Scales grabbed the defensive rebound to secure the victory for Edinboro (4-2, 4-1 PSAC).

Fighting Scots' Jaymon Mason the third leading scorer in the PSAC recorded a game-high 23 points to put pressure on WCUs defense, shooting 8 for 15 overall and 4 for 7 from beyond-the-arc. Wade-Chatman Heneri registered 15 points and eight rebounds in the victory. Sheldon Brogan added 13 points in the win on the road. They climbed their way back into the game after going on a 9-2 run to regain the lead 50-48 at the 6:49 mark in the second half to go ahead for good.
WCU went on a 17-9 run with 7:34 to go in the first half to lead by six going into halftime.Edinboro responded on a 12-3 run out of the break to cut within three, but a steal by Wiseley and Pass by
Avery Brown (Mt. Laurel, NJ/ Lenape) back on the break away to Wiseley for the two-handed slam stopped the Scots momentum to push the lead to five.
West Chester will be back on the court against PSAC East rival Bloomsburg on December 16th at 7:30 p.m. in the third game of a six-game home stand.
