Meet ResultsWEST CHESTER, Pa. – West Chester came out on top in every event on Saturday afternoon against visiting Springfield College, finishing with a 191.7-187.5 victory, which marked its second highest score of the year.

Majesta Valentine (Wilmington, Del.) placed first in both the vault and floor exercise, scoring a 9.750, and a 9.720, respectively. The Golden Rams captured second and third place as well on the vault, as
Rachel Blair (Telford, Pa.) scored a 9.725 and
Selena Swanger (Gettysburg, Pa.) registered a 9.650.

Meghan Brannon (Seminole, Fla.) swung her way into first place on bars with a score of 9.725
. Alyssa Hult (Fremont, N.H.) wasn't far behind, as she placed third with a 9.675.

Blair tied with Springfield's Abby Clark for first place on the balance beam with a score of 9.7. Swanger landed third with a 9.675.

The Golden Rams showed their depth in the floor exercise, as they managed to take control over the top three spots. Valentine captured first place with a score of 9.725, Swanger was behind her in second with a 9.7, and Hult registered a 9.675, which was good enough for third place.

Swanger posted the highest overall score with a career-high 38.450.

West Chester will head to the Philadelphia Convention Center on February 27 where it will compete against Ursinus College and Southern Connecticut State University.Â
