Parrish Grant (Philadelphia, Pa./Inhotep Charter) scored 19 points as host West Chester defeated visiting Mansfield, 90-78, in a PSAC men's basketball game inside Hollinger Field House Wednesday night.

West Chester (16-12, 14-8 PSAC) finishes the regular season in a tie for second place with Kutztown and will earn the second seed out of the Eastern Division in the upcoming PSAC Tournament next week by virtue of its two wins over the Bears during the year. The Golden Rams have a first-round bye into the quarterfinals and will play at home next Tuesday night. Mansfield (11-15, 9-13) was eliminated from playoff contention with the loss.

Matt Wiseley (Emmaus, Pa./Emmaus) posted a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds while
Cory Blake (West Chester, Pa./Rustin) added 14 points in his final regular-season home game. Blake now has 1,399 career points, ranking 10th all-time in school history. With his four rebounds, he also moved into sole possession of ninth place on the all-time charts in that category. Blake becomes the sixth player in school history to crack the Top 10 in both categories.

West Chester won the game at the foul line, making 42 of 55 free throw attempts (76.4%) and knocked down 8 of 15 3-pointers as well. Mansfield saw three of its starters foul out in the contest.

West Chester is off until Tuesday, March 3 when the Golden Rams will take on the winner of No. 3 Kutztown vs. No. 6 Shippensburg, which will be played Saturday in Kutztown. That game will be at 7:30 p.m. as part of a doubleheader with the women's team, who also earned the second seed out of the Eastern Division in their postseason tournament.
