WEST CHESTER, Pa. – West Chester University's women's tennis squad shut out visiting Kutztown in both singles and doubles matches on Sunday afternoon that took place on South Campus.
The Golden Rams who are (6-6, 3-0 PSAC East) remain undefeated and atop the PSAC East standings.
West Chester started strong as it swept the doubles competition, earning a 3-0 lead heading into the singles matches. The dynamic duo, Claire Uhle and Maddy Shaak, remain undefeated in dual play, and also picked up wins in first and third singles, respectively.
Abriana Nolan downed her opponent in second singles 6-0, 6-0, while Alyssa Rees and Kristen Wong picked up wins in fourth and fifth singles. Cassidy Branigan also came out victorious 6-1,6-0 win at sixth singles.
