Jillian, posted 44 assists as visiting West Chester was stretched to the five-set limit by host Philadelphia University inside the Gallagher Center. But, the Golden Rams prevailed 3-2 in the non-league volleyball match.

West Chester (9-0) battled it out, splitting the first four sets, but then left little doubt in the deciding set to put PhilaU (2-3) away. The Rams took the match 23-25, 25-15, 23-25, 25-23 and 15-4.

Tori Cruciani (Phoenixville, Pa./Pope John Paul II) registered eight kills, but did most of her damage on the defensive end with seven blocks.
Marina Sharkey (Newtown Square, Pa./Archbishop John Carroll) added nine kills to go along with five blocks. West Chester posted nine blocks as a team in the match.

Sam Agostini (Broomall, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) had eight kills and three digs.

Nicki Yates (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh) led West Chester with 22 digs.
Callie Krajcir (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) added 16 while
Lyndsey Iacobelli (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) had 12.
Bethany Gould (Camp Hill, Pa./Cumberland Valley) added 11.

The Golden Rams posted just a .158 hitting percentage in the match. However, their defense more than made up for it, limiting the Rams to an .058 hitting percentage.

West Chester travel to Lakewood, N.J., on Saturday for a tri-match with Nyack and Georgian Court. The Golden Rams play Nyack at 1 p.m., followed by Georgian Court at 3 p.m.
