Box Score 2 LAKEWOOD, N.J. – The Golden Rams women's volleyball squad improved to 11-0 on the season with a pair of sweeps Saturday afternoon.
In the opener, West Chester defeated Nyack College by scores of (25-15, 25-12, 25-8).
Tori Cruciani (Phoenixville, Pa./Pope John Paul II) and
Allie Duffy (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle) led the Golden Rams with six kills each.
Jillian Grammar (Center Valley, Pa./Southern Lehigh) had five assists while Bethany Gould registered 11 digs.
In the nightcap,
Molly Grammar (Center Valley, Pa./Southern Lehigh) posted 14 kills to lead the Golden Rams to a 3-0 victory by scores of (25-16, 25-17, 25-15).
Grammar led the way with 19 assists and added four kills.
Nicki Yates (Coopersburg, Pa. / Southern Lehigh) recorded 10 digs to pace the Golden Rams.
West Chester opens up conference action with a western crossover at Seton Hill on Friday Sept. 25.
