Box Score PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Well, 110 minutes of soccer was not enough for either side to break through as visiting West Chester University and host Philadelphia University played to a scoreless tie Tuesday afternoon at Ravenhill Field.
West Chester (2-3-2) was outshot 17-8. However, Giovanni Mowrey hit the crossbar with only a few seconds remaining in the first half for perhaps the Golden Rams' best scoring opportunity. Philadelphia University (3-2-2) tested WCU goalkeeper Matt Palmer four times, but the sophomore was up to the challenge each time.
West Chester hosts Shippensburg on Saturday in a doubleheader with the women at Rockwell Field.
