Majesta Valentine (Wilmington, Del.) tied her all-around personal best as the host Golden Rams topped both SUNY Cortland and Rhode Island College in an NCAA meet inside Sturzebecker HSC Saturday afternoon.

West Chester (3-0) scored a 191.45 to top SUNY Cortland (186.775) and Rhode Island College (175.825) and remain perfect on the season.

Valentine, a 2015 NCAA Regional qualifier, scored a combined 38.9 all-around to tie her previous best. Teammate
Selena Swanger (Gettysburg, Pa.) was close behind with a 38.025.

The Golden Rams posted a 48.025 on the beam to top their previous best. The hosts swept the top four spots, led by Valentine's 9.825.
Lindsay Knapp (Collegeville, Pa.) scored a 9.775 and
Cassandra Hageman (Carlisle, Pa.) and Swanger tied for third with a 9.675.

Swanger and Valentine tied for second on the vault with a 9.625. That was good for a personal best for both gymnasts in that event.

West Chester claimed four of the top five spots on the uneven bars.
Meghan Brannon (Seminole, Fla.) won the event with a score of 9.675 while Valentine was second with a 9.65.
Madi Brent (Waxhaw, N.C.) and
Lindsey Mathis (Waldorf, Md.) each scored a 9.45 to tie for fourth.

The Rams swept the top five spots during the floor exercise. Valentine scored a 9.8 while Swanger posted a 9.775 and Brent a 9.7. Knapp scored a 9.65 and Mathis a 9.6.

West Chester will meet up with ECAC rival Southern Connecticut State University, along with North Carolina and Towson down in Towson, Md., next Sunday.
