Malik Jackson (Lansdowne, Pa./Penn Wood) scored 24 points, but it was not enough as host Bloomfield defeated visiting West Chester, 97-86, in a non-league contest Tuesday evening.
West Chester (3-3) shot just 38 percent from the field as the Golden Rams saw their three-game winning streak halted. Meanwhile, Bloomfield (3-4) shot 49 percent from the floor to end its three-game slide.
Jackson was the only Golden Rams player in double figures.
Dashon Giddings (Philadelphia, Pa./Delaware Valley Charter),
Thomas White (Chester, Pa./Ridley) and
Mike Jolaoso (Philadelphia, Pa./Episcopal Academy) each staged nine points in the loss.
West Chester continues its five-game road trip this weekend with a pair of PSAC contests out West. The Golden Rams will take on Slippery Rock Saturday evening, before heading to Edinboro for a Sunday matinee.
