Meet ResultsNEW HAVEN, Conn. – On Saturday afternoon, the West Chester gymnastics squad produced a dazzling performance at Yale University. The Rams finished with a final combined score of 191.125. The mark was WCU's second highest of the year and highest road score of the season.

WCU's 191.125 resulted in a second place finish for the gymnasts and moved their season record to 11-3. Host Yale scored a 192.275, which was also their highest season result. Rhode Island College finished third scoring a 176.325.

The gymnasts started strong in their first rotation on the beam. While it was not WCU's highest beam score of the year, they turned in a very balanced set of routines on the apparatus scoring a 48.125. There were no falls for the WCU gymnasts on the apparatus. Senior
Lindsay Knapp (Collegeville, Pa.), who missed last weeks five-team meet, led the way on the beam with a 9.650. Knapp's 9.650 finished third among all gymnasts.

WCU rotated to floor exercise, where they achieved a 47.925.
Majesta Valentine (Wilmington, Del.) finished third among all competitors with a 9.775. Freshman
Emily Loughery (Telford, Pa.) scored a 9.650 and finished fourth overall.

WCU's 47.900 was the top team vault score on the day. Valentine flipped her way to a 9.675 second place vault score. Freshman
Maia Curry (Erdenheim, Pa.) scored a 9.625 on the apparatus and finished third overall.

The Golden Rams finished the meet scoring a 47.175 on the bars. Valentine's 9.700 resulted in a third place finish.
Meghan Brannon (Seminole, Fla.) finished fifth on the bars with a 9.650

Majesta Valentine secured her sixth all-around victory of the season with an all-around score of 38.775.
Selena Swanger (Gettysburg, Pa.) finished fourth in the all-around with a 37.200.

The Golden Rams will hit the road again next week and travel to Springfield, Mass. WCU will take on Springfield College at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26.
