Shane Dressler (York Haven, Pa./Red Land) homered in game two while
Andrew Gernert (Lenhartsville, Pa./Kutztown) hit a pair of doubles in the opener, but third-ranked Millersville swept a PSAC East doubleheader at Cooper Park Friday afternoon.

West Chester (13-6, 3-3 PSAC East) scored three runs on five hits while committing one error in the 12-3 loss in the opener, and then scored four runs on six hits with one error in the 14-4 setback in the night cap. Millersville (22-1, 6-0) remains perfect in league play with the two wins.

Gernert was 2-for-3 with two doubles in game one. He knocked in two of West Chester's three runs as well. Anthony Salomone went 1-for-3 with the other RBI.

Dalton Reed (3-2) suffered the loss in game one.

In the night cap, West Chester jumped out to a 4-0 lead on the host Marauders. However, Millersville tied it with four runs in the bottom of the third and then plated 10 runs in the sixth to come from behind for the win.
Mike O'Neill (Brick, N.J./Brick Twp.) (0-2) suffered the loss in game two in relief of starter
Eric Close (Berwyn, Pa./Haverford), who lasted three innings.
Drew Diehl (Unionville, Pa./Unionville) went 2-for-3 in the second game.
