WEST CHESTER, Pa. - West Chester University's women's tennis squad shut out Shippensburg University, 9-0, in a PSAC East match Wednesday afternoon at the South Campus Courts.
West Chester (12-5, 4-0 PSAC East) has won all four of its conference matches by 9-0 scores.
Claire Uhle (Blue Bell, Pa./Wissahickon), Maddy Shaak (Myerstown, Pa./Eastern Lebanon County), Rylee Power (Newtown Square, Pa./Marple Newtown), Abriana Nolan (Honesdale, Pa./Honesdale) and
Alyssa Rees (Morgantown, W.Va./University) were all double winners Saturday.
Steph Cifarelli (Royersford, Pa./Spring-Ford) was a winner at sixth singles while
Amalie Hartman (Cleona, Pa./Annville-Cleona) teamed with Nolan at third doubles for a win.
West Chester hosts Mercyhurst on Saturday.
