Claire Uhle (Blue Bell, Pa./Wissahickon) at first doubles for a win, but visiting Mercyhurst downed the hosts, 6-3, in a non-league women's tennis match Friday afternoon.
West Chester (11-6) fell behind 2-1 after the doubles play, and picked up wins from Shaak and Power at second and third singles, but Mercyhurst's depth was too much as the Lakers cruised to the win.
West Chester hosts Cheyney on April 12.
