Nobody scored in 110 minutes of action Tuesday. The Golden Rams' best opportunity came early in the first half when senior striker
Miguel Ross (Pottstown, Pa./Pottstown) broke in on Millersville keeper Darian McCauley, but was denied by a sliding save. The rebound came out of the penalty area to
Brett Miller (Washington Crossing, Pa./Council Rock North), but his blast from 25 yards sailed high over the crossbar.
West Chester managed just one shot after halftime, and none in the 20 minutes of overtime. However, Wood and the backline of the Golden Rams stood their ground and weathered a few waves of attack from the Marauders.
Millersville held a 12-4 advantage in shots, though only three of the Marauders' shots were on target, and a 9-1 advantage in corner kicks.
McCauley made one save for Millersville in net.
