KUTZTOWN, Pa. – No. 11 Kutztown proved to be too much for West Chester, running away with a 110-85 victory inside Keystone Arena Wednesday night.
West Chester (8-11, 6-8 PSAC) could not handle a red hot No. 11 Kutztown (16-2, 12-2 PSAC) squad that never trailed in the contest and extended its winning streak to eight games.
The Golden Bears shot the lights out, going 61.9 percent (39-63) from the field, while knocking down 10 out of 20 shots from downtown to be 50 percent.
Sophomore
Malik Jackson (Lansdowne, Pa. / Penn Wood) posted a team-high 24 points and five assists. This was the first time Jackson registered 20 plus points in a game since December 12th against Wilmington (Del).
Meanwhile,
Jackson Hyland (Avondale, Pa. / Kennett) contributed 13 points and
Dashon Giddings (Philadelphia, Pa./Delaware Valley Charter) chipped in ten points to go along with seven rebounds.
Fresh off PSAC East and ECAC honors,
Tyrell Long (Philadelphia, Pa./Bishop McDevitt) added seven points and seven rebounds.

Thomas White (Chester, Pa. / Penn Wood) registered 10 points to be the fourth player in double-figures.
West Chester returns home in hope of breaking a two-game skid.
Head coach Damien Blair's team faces Mansfield University on Saturday in addition to being Alumni Day inside Hollinger Field House at 4 p.m.
The alumni game is set to start at noon for the Golden Rams.
