LEWISBURG, Pa. –
DeShaun Pickett placed third in the prelims of the 200m, and
Ryan Heimbach was fourth in the 60m hurdles to lead West Chester University's contingent at the 19th Annual Bucknell Bison Open & Multi's inside Gerhard Fieldhouse Friday night.
Pickett posted a time of 22.45 seconds in the 200m to advance to Saturday's final. Meanwhile, Heimbach, who ran a 8.71 and placed fourth in the prelims of the 60m hurdles, bettered that time in the finals with an 8.66. However, that was still good for a fourth-place showing.
In the mult events, Colin Vannicolo posted 2,480 points in the heptathlon to finish fourth overall. Brady Thayer amassed 2,369 points to finish eighth.
Day two of the Bucknell Bison Open & Multi gets under way Saturday morning at 10 a.m.
