CHEYNEY, Pa. - West Chester University's women's volleyball squad earned a pair of 3-0 sweeps over host Cheyney in a rare doubleheader inside Cope Hall Tuesday evening.

The Golden Rams took the opening match by scores of 25-10, 25-15, 25-5 while claiming the second match 25-8, 25-11 and 25-13. West Chester (15-4, 5-3 PSAC) upped its winning streak to four straight with the win while Cheyney (0-14, 0-8) is still in search of its first win of the season.

Sr., OH Karleigh Lutz (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) recorded 10 kills in each match while So., RS Peyton Wright (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) added 11 kills in the opener and seven more in the nightcap. Sr., Setter Jillan Grammer (Centre Valley, Pa./Southern Lehigh) notched a grand total of 70 assists in the two matches combined. Meanwhile, Sr., Libero Nicki Yates (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh) led the team with eight digs in each match.

West Chester returns home on Friday and Saturday to take on Millersville at 7 p.m. Friday night and Shippensburg at 4:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Both matches will be in Sturzebecker Health Science Center as a reminder while Hollinger is renovated.
