WEST CHESTER, Pa.-The West Chester University women's volleyball team (16-4, 6-3 PSAC) hosted Millersville (11-5, 4-4 PSAC) in a PSAC crossover match on Friday night inside the Sturzebecker Health Science Center. The Golden Rams went on to win 3-1 (25-22, 25-23, 16-25, 25-22).
How it happened:
- The first set was tight throughout but West Chester ultimately prevailed winning the first set by a score of 25-22.
- The second set was close once again but West Chester was able to win some crucial points late in the set in order to pull out a 25-23 victory.
- Millersville came storming back in the third set seeking to avenge the tough losses suffered in the first two sets and they would do just that going on to win the third set 25-16.
- Millersville jumped out to a quick 6-0 lead to start the fourth set but West Chester quickly won 15 of the next 21 points to take a 15-12 lead midway through the set. The set remained tight from this point forward but West Chester ultimately managed to pull away to earn the 25-22 fourth set victory and win the match 3-1

- Karleigh Lutz(Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) led in kills as she recorded 17 kills on the night while Abbie Dischert(Wilmington, De./Concord) added another 12 kills of her own.
- Jillian Grammer(Center Valley, Pa./Southern Lehigh) had yet another strong night recording a match high 48 assists.
- Nicki Yates(Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh) turned in another good performance this evening as she registered 32 digs as well as three aces to help propel the Golden Rams to the 3-1 victory.
